While the software is affordable, $29.95 USD as of this writing, it has notable limitations that you need to be aware of. If you lose or forget the password to a private volume or file, you're out of luck. The password can't be recovered or reset. Private volumes (encrypted folders set to a specific size) will not grow as they fill up, and their sizes can't be changed. Encryption strength is also limited to 256bit.
